Dingo is a roaming wild dog endemic to the continent of Australia and which mainly occurs in the wilderness. Its ancestors are believed to have been dogs that arrived on the continent with humans from Southeast Asia thousands of years ago. It is a persistent hunter and the largest terrestrial carnivore in Australia.
