Polar bear

The polar bear lives on the packed ice found in the Arctic. Their habitat includes western and northern Alaska, Greenland, central Siberia and the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. Polar bears mainly eat seals, seabirds, small mammals and fish. They also eat whale carcasses and vegetation in the summer. Their average lifespan is from 25 to 30 years in the wild and 38 years in captivity.
